Watergate South-Private Residence

This 3,400 square foot renovation project involved combining two apartments and providing a perfect setting for the owners collection of modern and traditional art. The renovation combined timeless design principles with sophisticated materials to create an elegant space worthy of both their collection and this historic landmark. The majority of the finishes were kept subdued to serve as a backdrop for the owner’s art collection and the magnificent views of the Potomac River and Kennedy Center. This project has been featured in several design publications and received industry awards for quality of construction. This work was performed by a PDG team member during their time at Ponte Mellor Architects.
