Designed to bring together multiple video game studios and teams, the 18,000 square feet MaxCafé is a convergence center for the Microsoft owned ZeniMax Studios.

This high-tech dining room features shaped and framed spaces with fluid curves and forms within a tunable environment of dynamic lighting and media. Flowing surfaces and predominantly white surfaces provide a neutral background to display the many varied products of the studios, with both moving graphics and still-art assets. A variety of running displays continuously feature the broad depth of company products, as well as more practical menus, ordering systems and order status. A primary design goal was to provide multiple and separate unique spaces for various teams to converge, dine, and collaborate, achieved in a varied set of spaces and design enclaves. Curved forms in walls and ceiling both enclose and give identity also serving to soften noise and balance acoustics.
